CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
This system is used for most of the day-to-day relations to a customer. This system helps to replace the old methods of the customer having to give thier information everytime you called or worked with an organisation. The CRM system is used to keep better communications with a customer by analysing order parterns to provide similar products or better service based on the customer's experience. The CRM system helps keep customers from going to other competitors because they allow the companies to understand their customers better.
CRM system are beneficial to organisations because they help to increase sales by allowing the company to anticipate orders based on history, and by allowing the company to partake in targeted marketing to prevent wasting money on goods and services not needed.
A good example of a CRM would be car sales agancy. The CRM system would save the name of the customer and their purchase. Most may confuse the CRM system with a system such as ebay; the CRM system is mainly used for getting back to the customer to make a sale and not just to save information about the customer for the next time they use the service. The CRM in the car sales agency would track the type of cars bought by customers and would then allow the agency to send promotions related to the type of car. Another example of how the CRM could work would be to check the time of the purchase and would allow the company to ask the customer for a follow up car since most people wnat ot change their car.
