The opposite of everything that makes an ICT System/Solution fail is what makes it successful. Despite this, there are two major reasons:

 

• Management and End-user Involvement at the right times - The management know what goes on in the company overall and would be able to help you to understand how the company works and what owuld be required of the system. They have information about the orevious system that would allow you to understand why it is no longer wanted and would help show you things to avoid when creating the new one. The end-users would be using the system dialy and it would be important to get their feeback so that you can design system that they cna use. Together both parties can help you to establish a budget and requirements for the solution, they would alos help you to establish a timescale and select the deliverables(milestones).

 

• Effective ICT team work/ ICT team - It is important to ensure you have an effective ICT team because the project cannont be completed by one person. Friction between team membeers should be reduce by allocating equal amount of work to each team member. Careful monitoring of the team would prevent the project from being abadoned and reduce costs.

 

In your exams you would most likely be asked to define or describe and effective ICT team. Here's a _ mark answer to that question.
